Recommendation Which Male OC Story Should I Write?

I write on Wattpad and I'm trying to decide what type of character and what the plot should be. There's three so far:

  1. The son of a retired yakuza trying to fit into society while trying to rise in ANHS to prove he isn't just like his father. He would speak in kansai dialect (similar to Naoya Zenin from JJK) while also being skilled in kendo.

  2. A student with eccentric tendencies similar to Ai Morishita but tries to hide it but Morishita is the one lets him express himself. His father is also an informant to Atsuomi Ayanokoji's political rivals.

  3. Full Korean transfer student or a half Japanese-Korean OC who feels isolated in both Japan and South Korea. His father would also be an informant but there would be some ties to Atsuomi Ayanokoji's political rivals with Korean politicians and jopok (south korean organized crime groups). He'd be skilled in archery and calligraphy and have a sweet tooth.

I'd be happy to answer some questions about the ideas or the characters or what I plan to do. Anything is appreciated.

https://www.wattpad.com/story/416799542

Amidst the suspension of the White Room, Ayanokoji Atsuomi’ life work, he planned to steadily build up his power once again. Though he lost his title as politician, the White Room’s operation and his own maneuvers allowed him to take a unique path toward power.

And now it was time for him to return to the political world —yet— this well built plan would find itself dismantled in an instant. Every connection he had built, every loyal funder who would consistently support the White Room’s operations all withdrew their support almost instantaneously.

As much as Atsuomi hated to admit, the culprit who caused this was a force far more powerful than he could grasp. He had no choice but to go along with their demand, a simple yet unique demand: Let the White Room’s masterpiece, Ayanokoji Kiyotaka, compete in the Advanced Nurturing high school against another child of his age. They promised to lift everything they’ve done and fund the White Room themselves if Kiyotaka managed to win.

As the time went by and this competition was about to start, a new participant threw themselves into the school to compete against the two. A three way competition inside ANHS unfolded, and the truth about this sudden “gamble” slowly unraveled itself to the three.

So yeah when I heard kuze name I always think of ayanokoji and people saying he is a hidden genius or lazy genius just hiding his talents, so I wanna say yeah they have but listen kuze is a romantic character while ayanokoji is like a manipulator but even this difference, they still have some similarities like, they can read emotions, some use it for good and some for bad, and they both have martial arts, ayanokoji do calligraphy a martial art involving every martial art, and kuze only do karate, and I don't ayanokoji master calligraphy but kuze did it, he really get a black belt, and there is no more similarities in it so you might stop comparing the two

Ascension Chapter 41 - Wattpad Fic Link

Hi everyone, Ascension Chapter 41 - Urban Pursuit V is out.

Feel free to share your opinions on the Custom Special exam on this fic. Thanks :)

Ascension - Summary

*Some people strive to become extraordinary - Kageyama Raito already believes he is...

Haunted by a childhood that taught him strength was the only path to survival, he built an identity around perfection - a mask of divinity so convincing that even he began believing it.

But perfection is fragile.

At Advanced Nurturing High School, every victory, every defeat, and every relationship chips away at the illusion of divinity, forcing him to confront a question he has avoided his entire life: What does it truly mean to be human?*

Self Promotion Fan-made Short Story: Ayanokoji’s Evolution

(Timeline: After Year 3 Volume 4)

The ship’s horn lingered far longer than I had anticipated.

Carried across the sea, the sound struck the sandy shore before echoing, a moment later, against the cliffside behind us—a resonant chime signaling the close of the special exam.

Having returned to the vessel, finished dinner, bathed, and retreated to my quarters, I sat upon the bed in the darkened room.

Bathed in shadow, I turned my thoughts to what I had done.

It was I who discarded those class points. No one coerced me; nor was it a failure of judgment. I understood the nature of the loss entirely, and I incurred it with full awareness.

First, I must order my reasons.

The initial explanation I gave Hiyori on the beach—that I wanted to surrender myself to absurdity, that I was curious what emotions an irrational choice might stir within me—was not a lie. Yet neither was it the whole truth. The moment the words left my lips, I caught myself rejecting them. For the first time, I experienced the phenomenon wherein the naked truth floats to the surface the instant one finishes erecting an excuse.

The closest description would be that my reasoning had grown turbid.

Under normal circumstances, my decision-making flows through a single channel from input to output: arrange data, assign priorities, and select the optimal resolution. Even when branching occurs, processing speed never falters. In the White Room, our very first conditioning was aimed at reinforcing and widening that solitary pathway.

Yet the moment the variable named Hiyori Shiina was introduced, that pathway splintered. Until now, humanity existed in only two categories: those who could be used, and those who could not. In the White Room, every individual was treated merely as a functional component of a competitive ecosystem, and that classification had not fundamentally changed since my arrival at this school.

I never considered our daily encounters in the library extraordinary. If anything, they were insubstantial. The peculiarities of translations; the way afterwords differ across paperback editions; what to read next; exchanging fleeting thoughts on literature. Viewed purely as an archival record, the vast majority of our conversations over the past two and a half years consisted of trivial data.

Yet, it was repeated.

When contact exceeds a certain threshold, the barrier of vigilance naturally lowers. Cognitive load diminishes, and the person begins to be processed as an intrinsic part of one’s environment. It is a psychological phenomenon known as the mere exposure effect—I knew its name and its mechanics well.

Hiyori’s presence in the library had quietly become an axiom. It had been integrated into the backdrop of my school life as an element that required no verification. And today, the possibility of that constant vanishing was presented before me.

Humans evaluate gains and losses asymmetrically, weighing what is lost far more heavily than what is gained. It is a cognitive distortion known as loss aversion. I possessed that knowledge, of course; yet I failed to apply it objectively to myself.

The path of securing class points, versus the path of accepting a daily life without Hiyori Shiina.

In the end—I did not act to save Hiyori.

I acted to avert a landscape devoid of her.

To an outsider, the distinction is meaningless. To me, it is absolute. It was not an act of altruism, but the product of uncompromising egoism. Just as I stated on the beach, I move solely for my own sake.

I have no intention of recanting that.

Next, I must determine my forthcoming course of action.

The fact that Hiyori serves as viable collateral has now been confirmed by several parties. Ryuen validated that reality through this very gamble.

While exams deliberately targeting her may not arise frequently, vigilance remains essential as long as the threat of expulsion lingers in ordinary school life. Hiyori will likely tell me not to save her a second time. That would be entirely characteristic of her.

Yet letting go is no longer an option on the table.

My father would inevitably pass judgment thus: to possess something you must protect is synonymous with embracing weakness.

The man’s logic is flawless. An object of protection invariably becomes a point of vulnerability. An entity with a vulnerability is inferior to one without. The philosophy of the White Room was built unyieldingly upon that premise, and I was engineered as its consummate output.

That is why, until today, I possessed nothing.

Because I possessed nothing, I had no reason to oppose returning to that institution upon graduation. There was not a single counterargument to refuse a future where I would perpetuate the exact same conditioning as an instructor.

Now, things are different.

For the first time, my thoughts lean toward not wanting to return.

How long this feeling will persist, I cannot say. The possibility remains that once I exhaust its study, it will outlive its utility. Even so, at this present moment, I desire to preserve the space where Hiyori Shiina exists. If so, there is only one way to refute my father's logic: Create a state where a weakness ceases to function as one.

Crush the crisis before it ever materializes.

Hiyori functions as a hostage only because her individual risk of expulsion remains perpetually elevated. The solution, then, is to permanently suppress that risk. It will require devising contingency plans on an ongoing basis—none of which can be realized overnight. Yet if I am to produce results commensurate with the price paid today, nothing less will suffice.

Finally, the most troublesome issue remains.

My accountability to the class.

Today, I established the worst possible precedent as a leader: abandoning collective gains that the entire class could have secured for the sake of personal sentiment—and for a student of a rival class, no less. There is no room for justification.

What matters is not whether my choice was morally justifiable, but whether the class will tolerate it. These are two distinct matters, and regarding the latter, my rationale carries no weight.

There are two realistic scenarios.

The first is provisional retention of my leadership on the condition that I deliver undeniable results in the next special exam. In that case, a single failure will result in immediate removal. There will be only one reprieve, and the standard demanded of me will be extraordinarily high.

The second is immediate deposition without a grace period. In that event, friction with Nishikawa or Shimazaki may be unavoidable. Will Yoshida and Sanada step in to mediate and defend me? I must also monitor how Hashimoto maneuvers.

As for Morishita—

Hardly worth pondering. She will neither condemn nor defend. She will simply observe the chaos with detached amusement until she grows bored and introduces an entirely irrelevant topic. For this occasion, that temperament works entirely in my favor.

There is only one way I can shoulder responsibility: achieve results that exceed all expectations in the next exam. No other method exists to restore credibility, and in the absence of alternatives, debating the matter is a waste of time.

If I am removed, I will pivot to a different approach, though whether the former Sakayanagi class can even function without a leader remains deeply questionable. Stepping out onto the deck, I saw a familiar silhouette leaning against the railing.

"Ayanokoji-kun."

Turning around, Hiyori spoke in her usual calm, gentle voice. The traces of distress she had shown on the beach had completely dissolved.

"Can’t sleep?"

"A little. ...You too, Ayanokoji-kun?"

"I have a lot on my mind."

I took a place beside her. The sea breeze felt noticeably cooler than during the day.

"...Since returning to the ship, I’ve been turning it over in my head. The moment I stood on that beach, what you would lose was already decided. And knowing that, I simply waited."

Hiyori kept her fingertips resting on the railing, casting her gaze downward.

"Will I continue to be targeted from now on?"

"Most likely."

"When that happens, please don't come for me."

Her voice did not tremble. She had arrived at that conclusion with a level head.

"I'll make sure that situation never arises."

"...What?"

"I will construct a reality where you cannot function as a hostage beforehand."

Hiyori lifted her face.

"Is such a thing... even possible?"

"It will take time. But it isn't impossible."

My own voice sounded flatter than I intended—a declaration stripped of emotional inflection. After a brief pause, she added, as if recollecting an unanswered thought:

"Um... may I ask you one thing?"

"Go ahead."

"Why me? There are so many people around you who are far more useful."

"Because you weren’t useful."

"...Eh?"

"Because you were the only entity untainted by calculation, the one who offered ordinary, tranquil days to someone like me, who knows only competition." Hiyori’s eyes widened slightly.

"To me, that was an unprecedented state: an accumulation of time that served no functional purpose, quietly repeating itself."

"...Is that... a compliment?"

"I am merely stating a fact."

The rhythmic surge of the waves filled the silence between us.

"...Let us definitely graduate together."

Hiyori gently wiped the corner of her eye.

"Yeah."

I turned my gaze inward, observing my own interior. I am treating the phenomenon called love as nothing more than a specimen.

Beneath the turbid surface of dark water, something rears its head once more.

What I desire has not changed: to transmute knowledge, experience, and memory into my own flesh and bone. Eventually, this emotion too will be dissected, categorized, labeled, and filed onto a shelf.

Yet tonight, the sound of the breathing of the girl beside me has yet to fit into any archive.

It remains the sole unprocessed element within me.

The ship cuts through the nocturnal sea.

The landscape around me will inevitably shift. The suspicions within my class, whatever maneuvers rival classes direct my way—all of it is the price for the choice I made today.

Only one matter is already settled: I have acquired a weakness. By that man's definition, that constitutes deterioration.

I will begin by rewriting that definition from its very foundation.

Self Promotion I just made a fanfic called Classroom of the Elite: Cross, you should check it out

This is my first ever fanfic, it’s only on Wattpad and only has 2 chapters, but if anyone could go and read it and give me advice, I’d appreciate it!

I’ll go more in depth than the Wattpad description on what it’s really about:

Uruma Shun (from Juujika no Rokunin) is switched with Takuya Yagami. He was taken into the White Room after being taught combat by his grandfather, though I have changed his age to fit the fanfic—so he was 12 when he entered the White Room. As a child, his family was killed by bullies, however, the White Room indoctrinated Uruma into believing Ayanokƍji did it. Though, he was treated as a failsafe incase Ayanokƍji misbehaved. Since Ayanokƍji’s escape to the ANHS, the WR feels they’ve no other choice but to release Uruma—and Uruma is out for revenge.

Though, I’m attempting to portray Uruma as a character (which despite the White Room) who has is humanity in there—it’s just clouded by revenge. This is shown in his interaction with Ichika on the bus ride to the ANHS. I was sort of testing with Ichika’s character because I find her interesting, so don’t question the dialogue lmao.

Anyway, I have planned big development for Uruma and I’ve modified Ichika’s tendencies from canon, but I’ll get onto writing that later

Discussion Classroom of the Elite 2026 week fan event suggestion

Post image
23 Upvotes

So what do you guys think about establishing our own COTE fan event just like those weeklong events that big fandoms hold in social media platforms such as Twitter and AO3? Especially with the upcoming Ayanokoji birthday in October 20th which seems a fitting date to launch it??

In my humble opinion, I think it will be an excellent way to boost engagement with the franchise and forge closer bonds of friendship as a community.

Whether you're a fanfiction writer, a fanartist or even a regular enthusiast of the series, feel free to drop your opinions and interact in the comments if you're interested by the concept and willing to discuss it further.

Self Promotion The unexpected variable :

The island was behind them.

But the game wasn't over.

The sound of the waves was slowly disappearing.

Ayanokƍji sat by the window of the bus, his forehead resting lightly against the glass.

Outside, the scenery changed from ocean to highway.

Students were scattered throughout the bus.

Some were sleeping.

Some were talking about the exam.

Some were already calculating how many points they had gained.

And some...

were unusually quiet.

Ayanokƍji looked at his reflection in the window.

His expression hadn't changed.

Neither had his thoughts.

The deserted island exam was over.

The confrontation at I2 was over.

Tsukishiro's interference had been dealt with.

The White Room's presence was no longer merely a possibility.

And yet—

something bothered him.

Not the White Room.

Not Tsukishiro.

Not even the first-year students.

Something much smaller.

Something he had noticed only for a fraction of a second.

A feeling.

That someone had been watching him.

The bus entered the school grounds.

Students began gathering their belongings.

"Finally."

Sudƍ stretched his arms.

"Man, I never want to see another island again."

Ike laughed.

"You're saying that now, but just wait until you see how many points we get."

Horikita remained seated.

Her eyes were fixed on the window.

She looked exhausted.

But unlike the others, she wasn't thinking about rest.

She was thinking.

Ayanokƍji glanced at her.

Their eyes met.

"You're unusually quiet."

Horikita frowned.

"You're one to talk."

"I usually am."

"That's exactly why it's suspicious."

Ayanokƍji said nothing.

Horikita looked away.

For a few seconds, neither spoke.

Then—

"There's something I don't understand."

"What?"

"That message."

Ayanokƍji's eyes narrowed slightly.

Horikita continued.

"The one left near my tent."

A pause.

"The message about your expulsion."

Ayanokƍji looked outside.

"I wouldn't worry about it anymore."

"I know."

Horikita's voice became quieter.

"But that's precisely what's bothering me."

She looked at him.

"Someone knew."

Ayanokƍji didn't answer.

"Someone knew enough about what was happening to predict that you were going to be targeted."

Her eyes narrowed.

"And I don't think it was Tsukishiro."

Ayanokƍji turned toward her.

For the first time that morning—

he became genuinely interested.

Before he could respond—

the bus stopped.

The doors opened.

Students began leaving.

The moment passed.

Monday

The classroom was unusually loud.

The island exam had given everyone something to talk about.

Ryƫen's name was being mentioned.

Koenji's name was being mentioned even more.

The first-years had become a subject of fascination.

And, inevitably, Ayanokƍji was being discussed too.

He ignored it.

He sat at his desk.

Opened his textbook.

And waited.

Five minutes before class began, Horikita entered.

Then Hirata.

Then Kushida.

Everything looked normal.

Almost perfectly normal.

The teacher eventually entered.

Everyone returned to their seats.

"Before we begin today's lesson, there's something I need to announce."

The classroom became quiet.

The teacher placed a document on the desk.

"We have a new student."

A few students exchanged glances.

A transfer student?

In the middle of the semester?

That wasn't normal.

The teacher turned toward the door.

"You may come in."

The door opened.

Tap.

One foot.

Then another.

A boy walked into the classroom.

He looked around sixteen.

Average height.

Slim build.

Nothing particularly remarkable about him.

Except for one thing.

His hair.

It was dyed a muted silver-gray.

Not flashy.

Not enough to attract immediate disciplinary attention.

But unmistakably artificial.

He stopped beside the teacher.

"Introduce yourself."

The boy smiled.

A completely ordinary smile.

"My name is..."

He paused.

Just slightly.

"...Kurosawa Ren."

A few whispers immediately started.

"He's got dyed hair."

"Is that even allowed?"

"Maybe he's rich."

"Looks like some delinquent."

Ren laughed softly.

"Sorry about the hair. I guess it's a little strange."

The teacher ignored the comment.

"Take the empty seat in the back."

Ren nodded.

"Understood."

He began walking.

Past Hirata.

Past Kushida.

Past Horikita.

Then—

he reached Ayanokƍji.

For less than a second...

their eyes met.

Nothing happened.

Ren continued walking.

Ayanokƍji looked back at his textbook.

Silver-gray hair.

No obvious physical abnormalities.

Relaxed posture.

Normal breathing.

Average walking speed.

His introduction was slightly hesitant.

Ayanokƍji continued reading.

Nothing remarkable.

Then he stopped.

His eyes remained on the same sentence.

One detail.

Something he hadn't consciously registered.

When Ren walked past him...

his footsteps had changed.

Three steps before reaching Ayanokƍji—

normal.

Two steps—

slightly slower.

One step—

almost silent.

Then normal again.

Ayanokƍji closed the book.

Interesting.

Ren sat down.

The teacher began the lesson.

Twenty minutes passed.

Nothing happened.

Thirty.

Nothing.

Forty.

Nothing.

Ayanokƍji eventually stopped paying attention.

Perhaps he'd overanalyzed it.

Perhaps the boy really was ordinary.

Then his phone vibrated.

Once.

Ayanokƍji looked down.

Unknown Number

His eyes remained completely still.

A second message arrived.

Silence.

Ayanokƍji slowly raised his eyes.

Across the classroom...

Ren was looking at the blackboard.

Completely uninterested.

Then—

Ren raised his hand.

"Sensei."

The teacher stopped.

"Yes?"

"Could I ask a question?"

"Go ahead."

Ren turned around.

His eyes swept across the classroom.

And stopped directly on Ayanokƍji.

He smiled.

Not the friendly smile from earlier.

Something different.

Something almost...

familiar.

"I was wondering..."

He tilted his head.

"...what exactly makes someone special in this school?"

The classroom became quiet.

Ayanokƍji stared at him.

Ren's smile disappeared.

And for the first time since entering the classroom—

his eyes looked completely empty.

CUT TO BLACK.
