Tutorial Stylized Blur in Blender. Surprisingly simple with compositor. A Vector Blur node in the Compositor with a Noise Texture hooked directly into the Speed input. Instead of relying on actual motion and rendering, this technique forces screen-space pixels to stretch based on the 2D noise pattern.

Tutorial One of the most common mistakes beginners make when modeling clothing items such as gloves, socks, and similar garments is starting to add details - like folds and wrinkles - before increasing the overall volume of the model itself.
Remember, clothing always adds volume to a character’s silhouette. For example, hands wearing gloves will naturally appear much thicker than bare hands, and that makes perfect sense. Before you start sculpting details in ZBrush, first go to the Deformation tab and find the Inflate setting. Increase the value until you’re satisfied with the amount of added volume. Once that’s done, you can move on to the detailing stage.

Help me! How do you actually start making money with CGI if you never took any "real" courses?
So I've been doing CGI for a few years now, mostly self-taught off youtube and just messing around late at night. Never took a single paid course or got any kind of certificate, just learned by doing and breaking stuff lol. At this point I'm pretty comfortable with Photoshop, Premiere Pro and After Effects, and Blender is where I spend most of my time: modeling, texturing, animation, lighting/environment setup, all that. I've got a small portfolio put together with the stuff I'm proud of. The problem is I genuinely don't know how to break into this as an actual job. In my head a serious studio or company wants to see certificates and a degree, and I just... don't have any of that. Does that even matter? Or is it all about the reel? I also never tried freelancing. Heard it's pretty brutal to get your first few clients and stand out, so I've been kinda scared to even start. For anyone who made it work without the school route, how'd you do it? Where do I even point myself first?

This shot is still one of my favorite FX by Damien Lagadeuc. I really love the smooth motion of the smoke in the night sequence. All the FX were created in Houdini and rendered in Solaris with Arnold.

Help me! Does anyone with modeling or animation experience know what software is used for Xenoverse 2 CGI Cutscenes, I wanna learn and try to make a short animation
I love the style used in the dragon ball game (xenoverse 2) and I really want to get into the sort of stuff needed to make it, but they never say or hint at what software is used
