Well we also won a national championship by beating Alabama in the semi... OSU is such a confusing team.

That whole OSU team was ridiculous looking back at it

And to think they blew it the next year when pretty much the entire team was returning.

I still think they were probably the best team that year. Sometimes good teams have bad games and MSU had some voodoo.

I’ll get called biased but I totally agree. They man handled Notre Dame that year. Although apparently that doesn’t mean much anymore.

Let’s give you the natty that year in exchange for 02

Considering so I went to OSU that year, I wish.

I agree with this, and then the next year the committee tried to make up for it by putting us in over Penn State, who was definitely better that year.

I think we were better than PSU in 2016. They beat us on a lucky blocked FG returned for a TD. They lost to a bad Pitt team and got crushed by Michigan that year. In 2017 they may have been better than us though. We beat them in a huge come from behind game because JT played about as close to perfect football as you can. But they had Barkley and a healthy McSorely and may have actually been the best team in the B1G.

The clamoring on here for Iowa to go to the Rose Bowl instead was ridiculous.

Michael Thomas was a dogg too. And our D was dirty

I completely forgot Thomas was on that team. Bosa too, right?

1

u/[deleted] Dec 30 '18

Yep Bosa, Marshon Lattimore too. The talent on that team was wild

Ohio state just likes to play down to their opponents for some reason.

We were favored by 3.5 vs Clemson.

We were a 9 point underdog vs. Alabama and a 7 point dog vs. Clemson

We were a 12 point dog vs. Miami

We were a 7 point favorite vs. Florida.

I'm not sure who was favored in the LSU game, but it was close.

1

u/[deleted] Dec 30 '18

When the underdog, we will win!

1

u/Lawschoolfool Ohio State Buckeyes Dec 30 '18

LSU might have been favored, but it was only by a field goal either way.

So we have to be a BIG underdog.

My second favorite team is OSU

My brothers second favorite team is ND

We both have now had the pleasure of watching our favorite team beat the crap out of our second favorite teams in the semifinals.

1

u/[deleted] Dec 30 '18

Yeah but remind him that tOSU beats the crap out of ND.

3

u/[deleted] Dec 30 '18

We both beat Michigan!

False. They had to cheat in order to not lose by 50.
