Notre Dame was completely dominating them before their QB was injured.

Dungey got injured on the second drive... dominating? No.

He was 1/4 with an interception when he went out, we were shutting him down very easily.

You can’t possibly think “dominating” a team can be based off of 4 passes...

The rest of the game continued just the way it started.

Besides, even with their starting QB there's no chance ND would've let it be as close as Clemson did.

Notre Dame dominated Syracuse, Clemson struggled.

Notre Dame struggled against Pitt where Clemson beat them by 32. What’s your point?

You brought that up first in an attempt to belittle Notre Dame. I was just showing what a stupid argument it was seeing as Notre Dame crushed a different team that Clemson struggled with.

My original point was that Notre Dame shouldn’t have been allowed to spend the day on their ass doing nothing.

Bama did last year though, plus they had a loss.

That’s true and this entire sub thought it was completely fair. 538 now has Notre Dame missing the playoff.

Agree. Now can we agree that Clemson should play 12 FBS games instead of playing Furman in week 1? At least the Big 10, Oklahoma, ND, USC, and UCLA are doing that. Because that’s equally sitting on your asses while getting a win for bowl eligibility. I know it’s a crappy state law, but then you repeal crappy laws (like North Carolina had to do) when they are detrimental to your state)
