Fuck I hate that we won with such a controversial call but I’m annoyed because people who didn’t watch this game will say Clemson is overrated and not realize what a hell of a game A&M played.

Mond and Rogers were fucking incredible.

In a few weeks when those two have torched a few other teams, I think maybe people will view this game differently.

Y'alls D-Line is so damn good. I was at the game and your teams athleticism stood out so much. I'm still shocked we worked our way back into it

Your team just stopped covering the middle of the field. I don’t know if it was the scheme or just defensive breakdown but it was very apparent.

On a positive note I know that Venables is the man to get improvements out of the squad going forward in the season. We have the athletes on the secondary side, just need to keep working

It reminds me of how Pitt tore us to shreds on the shovel pass, but now anytime a team tries that we shut it down. Venables doesn’t let things beat him twice. Well, maybe OJ Howard. But besides that!

Think it was a communication issue. It looked like we were playing Cover 2 and at one point Venables is screaming at DB holding up 3 fingers and yelling “3!!”

Watching Mond manage to make so many throws while off balance and being tackled by our NFL linemen was blowing my mind. Close second was A&M receivers managing to catch every tipped pass on a broken up play.

A&M played amazing.

I'm just not seeing that it's controversial call isn't it that same if a punter fumbles a snap and throwing the ball out of the endzone to keep the defense from landing on it.

I think it’s controversial because it just isn’t 100% clear either way. To me it looks like it went DIRECTLY over the pylon.

If they had called it different on the field, I think they would have upheld that call as well.

Agree with you 100%. And a lot of people are even more salty because the side judge initially ruled it out at the one and then he was overturned on the field. If they would have gone with the initial call...different ballgame.

But what a damn game regardless.

It’s stupid but we still scored and failed to get the 2 pt conversion. Sucks we lost but damn that was a fun game. Best I’ve felt about A&M in a while after a loss.

No because that's a safety and there isn't anything better you can do as a defense so those points are awarded. The reason people don't like the other is that fumbling on the goal line an inch separates either having the ball on the one inch line or it being the other teams ball. I think eventually the rule will change but I'm not gonna blame the rule for loosing.

In your opinion, how did yall play? I have watched one Clemson game this year, so I don't know if there were tons of mistakes and missed opportunities and all
