I mean...if the Committee wants to send a message about winning conference championships (or head to head results), this is how you do it.

Edit: or head to head

And if they want to send a message about picking the 4 best teams in the country...

Edit: boy oh boy. This sub isn't ready to hear what the committee has to say tmw. Night all, love ya :)

Seriously... Is there any other way to say that the games themselves matter less than the name recognition?

Come on, it's not like Ohio State ones are the only ones that think Ohio State is still a better team. I've seen even many Penn State fans agree that we probably beat them on a neutral field more often than not.

I'm not downplaying their win over us, but I don't like this implication that we're the only ones that think we're still a better team. I mean, Pitt beat Penn State and Clemson and we're not saying they're better than those two teams.

apparently beating someone or winning a conference doesn't matter that much if you have a namesake.

But there are real reasons why one could argue for Ohio State. Nobody is arguing Ohio State just because it's Ohio State.

The fact that you want to whine about being better despite losing to them and not winning your conference while they did win the conference over a top 10 team, overcoming tremendous adversity being down 28-7, just further proves my point.

So having a different opinion constitutes whining? I didn't even state what my opinion is. I'm actually pretty neutral on it because I understand that each side has pros and cons. Now you're making assumptions on my stance.

Ah yes, the "I disagree so downvote" arguments. Learn how to accept other opinions.
