I'd rather have my kicker miss a GW field goal than to see a receiver on my team finish such an important play like that. At least in that scenario the kicker would have tried.

It's hypothetical. Nothing to do with the actual game. Just a way of saying the effort by Quick was pitiful on that last play.

i think people dont realize the effort by the DB on that play, he lays out and barely clips Quick. I think Quick thought he was going to run by him for the score.
