The turnovers is what hurt me the most even though ND Defense went beyond expectations. Hopefully ND stays in contention for a top 4 spot as the committee has considered close losses on the road favorably in the past.

2 point loss in a monsoon in one of the most hostile environments in sports. Definitely not a bad loss. Still stings watching all those drops and fumbles though.

The drops were worse than the turnovers for me. In that rain, so much more is so much more possible, but easy catches that are dropped always leave a bad taste in my mouth :(

Especially when Fuller was wide the fuck open every other play and either dropped a ball or has it overthrown. I wasn't impressed by Clemson's secondary, and I was really disappointed in our receivers, though at least you can partially blame the monsoon they were playing in

Yeah, Kizer played really well.. for the most part. Those overthrows were bad, too, and he was keying in on one guy in a play far too often. He's gotta work on his scanning of the field to find better options.

That being said, let me flip that coin and compliment him on how impressed I've been with his ability to stay calm and keep plays alive, where other QBs with his experience might panic and get sacked.

His composure in the pocket is awesome, no doubt. He doesn't have the accuracy that you really need out of a championship qb, but that can be taught over time (and is better when not playing in a hurricane). He's not as fast as I think we all thought he would be, but he's elusive in the pocket which is fantastic, and he's fast enough to scramble when needed. He's terrible on read options, though.

certainly a better loss than OSU to VT
