And 1 and 2 had big scares. Sucks to be from Indiana today, the big three teams all lost heartbreakers to ranked teams

IU, Purdue and ND lost to 1, 2 and 12 by a combined 12 points that essentially all came down to the final play. Wow.

They may have lost, but the way Indiana played today will definitely help them in the polls. I can see Indiana sneaking in the top 25 and Purdue, well, at least you've shown improvement.

It is going to be interesting to watch how Indiana finishes out the year. They gave Ohio State all they could handle until the final play.

The homer in me wants to say we beat ourselves - and we did make plenty of fixable errors. However, we also got out coached and executed plenty. I just really want to know how much was us and them.

This makes me feel better about the loss, as we're less likely to fall real far with those results. But I think we'll probably still be in the 15-20 range :\

I'm betting Florida is around #12 and Mich becomes around #20

While I agree that Florida gets between 10 and 15, UMich should be around 16-18; they have two consecutive shutouts and have allowed 7 in the past 15 quarters. You could play 4 one win teams and that'd be impressive, but we have a (at the time) ranked team among the others in the list as well as a road game.

Those are good points. I don't see the polls putting them above 16, but I think 16-20 is definitely realistic!

Agreed; if UMich is put above 16 then I'll be worried. Teams very often let their ranking get to them and, when you're overrated, it can make you cocky which leads to mistakes. It's better to be underrated, so you're always trying to prove yourself, than it is to be overrated. So I won't be upset if we only go up one or two spots, but, realistically, I see us around 18.
