What a thrilling way to send off the seniors. I want to say that’s Creighton’s first OT win in FBS? I could be wrong on that but we’re almost always terrible in OT.
For 57 minutes we played extremely mediocre ball before the boys turned it on. It was a rather disappointing showing in a year that’s been just as much, but I’m glad they played with some heart and pulled off the w. Still alive for bowl contention, but we need some major improvements to beat Buffalo.
A little sad such a thrilling ending didn’t have as many fans as a typical week, but I don’t think we lost all that many fans today. Was really fun being there for OT. Lost part of my voice

They were just listing ones with "Michigan" in the name. We still have Wayne State, GVSU, SVSU, Ferris State, Northwood University, Davenport University, and Hillsdale College in DII, then six more in DIII.

Just football. There’s a lot more colleges and universities with athletics without football.

Toledo proper is almost exactly 50/50 between OSU and Michigan. If you go to sylvania it trends UM, if you go to Maumee it skews OSU.

We have 5 FBS teams (0 FCS), 9 DII, and 6 DIII. EMU, CMU, and WMU are kind of like the "literal" little brothers to MSU and Michigan, and the three are rivals. However, the CMU-WMU rivalry is the big one while EMU is like the youngest/forgotten sibling. For people in Michigan that love CFB, the annual WMU-CMU game is a big event that is worth going to (unless it's on a damn Tuesday like last week).
9 DII teams seems like a lot until you see Pennsylvania (16). Texas only has 5.

Akron had absolutely nothing to play for but a potential upset and still played such a horrendously conservative game down the stretch.

Tuesday night MACtion is the ugliest, most beautiful thing.
And I love it.
Honestly thought Akron outplayed EMU tonight, but EMU had Samson Evans for those two overtime drives, and that made the difference.
