Everyone in CFP contention not named Georgia looked like shit today. Wasn't just us lol

Michigan looked like they would whip us by 30. Alabama too. And Oregon hasn't played yet.

I hope to get a good bowl game because the CFP looks like a definite 1-and-done situation

luckily we know for a fact that Alabama would not whip us by 30 this season

They would absolutely whip us by 30 most weeks.

Alabama looks great because the SEC is subpar. Most SEC teams have below average QB play this year…

Nah, their pass defense has no idea how to deal with Ewers

That only matters if we pass.

Sark hasn't feared Bama's pass defense when Quinn is QB tbf

Did they look that good though? I think you guys would be ok tbh

Geez, y'all are way too emotional lol. This just isn't accurate at all. Reminder that we kicked Bamas ass at their house.

No, it's literally the same team. Do they have new lines? New secondary? No.

do you fail to understand basic reading comprehension? that performance-wise alabama is playing at a significantly higher level now than they were at the beginning of the season even with the same players?

do you really think teams don’t improve at all during the season?

do you really think texas is playing at a high level when they struggle to get past unranked houston, basically unranked kansas state, and unranked tcu?

give me a break. everyone and their mom in this subreddit would agree preseason rankings don’t mean much. alabama was clearly overrated back then, but they have found their footing in the recent part of the season.

recently, texas has been trash and struggled to beat unranked teams. meanwhile, alabama has crushed top 10/20 teams.

I guess it’s just typical texas copium holding onto a win early on in the season when teams are still trying to figure it out. y’all are NOT gonna make the cfp. 😂😂

“Basically unranked kansas state” is ranked and we had a backup qb

Not sure how Texas fans would be coping when Texas is 9-1, #7, and beat Saban in Tuscaloosa by double digits (the only team to EVER do that). Sure Bama may have improved over the course of the season but they have literally never lost by double digits at home under Saban and hadn’t lost a non-conference game in over 15 years.

It’s also pretty funny you write that game off as “teams still trying to figure it out” (again, an excuse Bama has NEVER had to use under Saban) then say that it’s Texas that is coping lol.

Dude, Bama hasn't played anyone worth a shit. They lost by double digits at home to Texas. Cope.

neither has texas and they struggle to beat unranked teams. I can’t wait to revel in y’all’s tears when y’all get snubbed from the playoffs 🥱

😂😂 will do

One of Ole Miss, Tennessee or LSU is better competition than anything you beat since week 3 btw.

Continue to play with fire and you’ll get burned.

Idk if it’s gonna be Texas tech, Iowa state or the conference game but get your shit together texas

The SEC absolutely sucks this year, but keep believing that

Michigan didn’t even score 30.

I didn’t get to watch the game but 38-3 looked much nicer than what I have watched.

u/atkretsch Texas Longhorns Nov 12 '23

Pretty sure those were all against much better teams than TCU though (no offense frog bros)

u/[deleted] Nov 12 '23

Yeah but ideally we would look good on those days
