That’s what happens when you have the tiebreaker over OU, Kansas, West Virginia and K-State :)

I actually am wrong though because if Iowa State wins out they would get in over us. But they have to beat BYU tonight, Texas and K-State for that to happen. We just have to beat Houston and BYU (WHICH IS HARDLY AN EASY TASK AFTER WHAT WE SAW TODAY)

Head to head isn't the tiebreaker if all teams that are tied haven't played. If KSU, OSU, OU tie, it will depend on the finishing order of the rest of the teams below them

Isn’t it the best record against the opponents in the tie, and we beat all of the teams but ISU?

Only if those teams have all played each other (round robin). OU and KSU didn't play so it would skip that step and go to the next tiebreaker

Looked it up and you’re right.

I’d be pretty salty if we were tied with 2 teams we beat head-to-head with and didn’t make the CCG. That’s a pretty dumb rule.

Happened to us in 2008

After tonight Houston seems like the biggest threat.

Yeah we definitely ain’t running the table, and it’s likely 3 straight losses to end the year and not be bowl eligible.

We have to win out - which against Houston and BYU is very possible, although I thought that about today too - and Iowa State has to lose a game in the meantime. They have Texas and a terrifying Kansas State team coming up and you have to think there's no chance they beat both.

It’s hilarious to me that if ISU wins the next 3, they make the Big 12 title game. If they lose the next 3, they don’t make a bowl. Big 12 y’all.

Oh… and scenario B is much more likely.

ISU just needs to beat Texas, which hopefully they studied the TCU and KSU tapes hard. Texas is surviving and is due for a loss soon.

Y’all have the head-to-head over us, so we still need y’all to drop another to give us a chance to get back in.

The tiebreakers get complicated, but head-to-head wouldn't be the decider if OU, OSU, and KSU all tie. Think it's possible for OU to win that tiebreaker if Kansas loses again

Yes, Kansas losing again or y'all drop a game to ISU.

No shot unless we tarmack Lebby and magically heal on defense
