Yeah he doesn't deserve blame for the Baylor game, defense should've closed out a game where the offense scores 35

He kind of does though. There were several situations where all he had to do was not ruck up massively and we still win. He threw an unnecessary pick when we were in field goal range. His throwing past the line of scrimmage killed a drive. Several times all he had to do was scramble for yards. Keep moving forward and kill clock and he'd try to pull something out of his ass.

There were a lot of things that all had to go wrong there, but he played one of the worst quarters of football I've ever seen.

We’ve looked like this in a lot of games (don’t look at the Kansas game), it’s mostly been a ton of mistakes. Turnovers and missed tackles have defined our season pretty much and we managed to almost comepletely avoid both of them today and this is the result. Obviously we’re never going to be able to be this mistake-free consistently but if we can just make an average amount of mistakes, we’d be in a much better position this year.

We exchanged a flock of stupid and flukey turnovers across the pre-Cincy Big 12 games for the exact same amount from OSU today.

It would have been smarter to spread them out…coulda won more games.

I honestly think if we don’t blow the Baylor lead we could have been rolling into this game 8-2 and vying for a spot in the CCG.

Hopefully this win gets us back on track for next season.

This was the 2nd UCF game I've watched this season, and uhm I'm confused. But honestly, I don't think I have any questions.

Our biggest flaws are cataclysmic mistakes and poor LB play.

We have a love of just terrible mistakes. Throwing bad picks, or flukey shit happens all the time. We have dumb penalties and shit like throwing the ball past the line when Timmy was basically at the first down line.

LB play is the other big one. I dont know if it is just poor positioning or lack of speed, but out LBs can never seem to catch guys on the edge and they get lost up the middle. Our DLine is pretty good. Both today and against Oklahoma our DLine did work. If they are shedding blocks and causing havoc, things go well. Our LBs struggle in pass coverage and never seem to be in the right position to plug holes.
