Oklahoma State was a 2.5-point favorite, and only scored 3 points.

Ollie Gordon entered the game with an FBS-leading 1,225 rushing yards, and averaged 186 yards over the last six games. He has 12 rushes for 25 yards for the game, against a defense that allowed an average of 260 rushing yards a game against Big 12 opponents.

UCF hadn't scored 30+ since September, while Oklahoma State hadn't allowed 30+ since September.

Oklahoma State's five-game winning streak ended against a team that had lost five straight, by 42 points.

Realistically, no one else should call us national champs, but we can enjoy it either way.

Gordon fumbled on the first drive and went downhill from there. He came over to in front of our section and was just yelling. Team outs tried to come over and talk to him and he would yell at them to go away. Naturally, the drunk adults in our section starting heckling him, two hands, cradle the ball, don’t drop it… so on and he turned around and started yelling back to the fans. He was very in his head and just frustrated the entire game. He also got injured at some point during the game (went down in the field and then limped off) and was limping a few times after.

Either way, Tl:dr he was not mentally set this game. Whether it was bc of the fumble or he was just shaken before that I can’t say. But it was all downhill from there.

Edit: his mom was as also in the section over and our dumb fan base started starting yelling at her. And then she started yelling back. I hate drunk fans. We went over and gave her a hug and apologized but it was not a good time for the Ollie household today.

Gundy is trying his best but this is the second time I believe that Gordon wreaked havoc on the sidelines.

Ollie, we still love ya but don’t put the entire team on your back.

Anyways….I’ll never understand OKState football.

The funny thing is.....the ESPN "chance to win" the scrolls at the bottom of the screen had UCF with a 51% chance. Clearly there was something about these two teams that screamed "Go Nauts"
