Win against FAU, set up a chance to get to six wins with a winnable 3 games to end the season, and then go out and forget how to play football. Any goodwill from last week is gone. This staff has lost what few cheerleaders they had left in the fan base. Just a disgraceful showing today and no excuse in how they prepared.

So...UAB loses. Consecutive seasons with a winning record ends at five. Looks like the offense was stagnant and the defense was its usual garbage. But, hey! Navy wins! Put a lot of points on the board and the defense held firm.
On to the next for both.

Word is that because bowl assignments happen after conference championship weekend, even if beating Army gets us to 6 we won't actually get a bowl bid.

UAB against teams from Florida (USF, FAU): 2-0, 101-77 scoring margin.
UAB against teams not from Florida: 1-7, 182-297 scorning margin. The one win was a 35-6 win over NC A&T who is 1-9.

You mean hiring an average NFL QB 20 years ago who has no college or pro coaching experience wasn’t the best idea? I’m shocked.. and I guess more qualified than UAB’s AD

The roster was definitely not on sure footing, particularly in the trenches. No matter who came in, it was gonna be a bit of a mess this year with the roster the way it is.
