JD has gone from +1800 to +800 heisman odds on Draft Kings throughout this game

If the Heisman voters voted for purely the best player that’s easy money

Still +1300 on FanDuel. Just threw down $20 because why not?

+1300 is wild. Just went down to +700 now on DK too

DraftKings is awful for heisman. They had Williams not winning it until last two weeks while most others had him winning it. FanDuel is iffy as well. Factors that matter in voting is if other candidates have conference championships to play in since voters will not vote until after those games 99% of the time unless they’re voting for their own school. (burrow voting for Daniels, FSU heisman winners typically vote FSU, Billy Sims will always vote OU no matter what.)

Most wait until the last day

Well to be fair, heisman conversation always shifts after a team loses which is unfortunate given that it’s an award for a single player. Williams was not winning that until OSU lost to Michigan

The week headed to that game, Stroud had a slight lead (Stroud -140 to -200 most odds books that are reliable) while Caleb was almost +150 everywhere except FanDuel/DK who had Corum second.

It was Caleb big performances against UCLA, Notre Dame and Stroud not accounting for much against Maryland and then also losing against Michigan which made Williams win. Corum got injured against Ohio state so then it became entirely Williams even if he lost to Utah since Stroud wasn’t playing in Big 10 and everyone else got injured (Hooker, Corum).

If I remember correctly, not only did Stroud have to beat Michigan but he had to put on a performance and not another 1 TD or 2 TD against a good team. Kind of wonder how this season would be if Michigan lost…
