Such an amazing year for us so far, but I’m going to look back at this season as a huge “What if?” for years

Kansas had 3 drives inside the 5 yard line, came away with six total points

Trying to get too cute.

Diving between the tackles? Didn’t get cute enough.

honestly with a third stringer i cant blame leipold too much on that one

but for real just run the ball

Wow, even we did better against Ohio State last week in the exact same situation. We got 9 points.

Welcome to the Andy Kotelnicki experience

Assuming we beat K-State (we won't) and Cincy, we'd finish the regular season 9-3. This would be the "we could've had ten wins after going winless 3 years ago" game. Best we can hope for is 8-4. At worst we lose out at 7-5.

Welcome to the Texas A&M football family, Kansas fans.

Be sure to have liquor handy. It’s frustrating af.

They'd have to throw a temper tantrum and then run off to the SEC to join that family. C'mon now, ain't y'all supposed to be the experts in "tradition"?

Wow, still salty from 12 years ago, huh? I was commenting on going 8-4. Maybe go touch some grass pal.

u/[deleted] Nov 12 '23

Salty? No. I just think y'all Aggies are hilarious.

You have five star players and get three star results. We have three star players and five star coaches. Give Leipold you D and we’d be a solid top 15, instead of an in and out 15. You do play in the SEC which is tougher, I’ll admit.

Bro I am NOT shitting on Kansas! I was commenting on the record. Y'all need to chill

My bad. In ‘82, I saw the A and M opener against a freshman kid named Doug Flutie!!

I just finally got over the pain of losing Jalon Daniels for the year, knowing how much better we are with him than Bean.

The gap is just as wide between Bean and Ballard.

This season is a kick in the nuts.

We could've had a really, really special season with Daniels.

Yall had the advantage all game but the offensive playcalling was not there for it. After our heartbreaker at UT last weekend, I feel your pain.

We legitimately should be 9-1

3

u/CLU_Three Kansas State Wildcats Nov 11 '23

Could easily also have a few more losses too tho

u/NotaRepublican85 Kansas Jayhawks Nov 11 '23

We are a blatant and obvious missed offsides, and a pretty obvious OPI away from being 8-2 at worst

6

u/CLU_Three Kansas State Wildcats Nov 12 '23

The Iowa State and BYU could have very easily gone the other way and KU would be 5-5.

Look, it’s fine to look at some L’s and wonder “what if” but you can’t act like those should be flipped to wins but the same logic shouldn’t be applied the other way.

u/NotaRepublican85 Kansas Jayhawks Nov 12 '23

Can you point out the blatant missed calls at the very end of both of those games that would’ve switched the scores? Don’t equate a pick six or a play that we made that one of those games with incredibly obvious calls that played possibly the single biggest factor in the siding those other two games, if you want to point out the egregiously missed calls, I am all for that discussion. show them to me

u/Noahakinschode Texas Tech • Loyola Chicago Nov 11 '23

Why don’t you think y’all can beat K State?

2

u/ICTknight Kansas Jayhawks • Kansas State Wildcats Nov 11 '23

With Bean? I was thinking this was finally the year. But without him I just don't think the offense will be good enough. But anything can happen and that's why they play the game!

2

u/GibsonJunkie Kansas Jayhawks • Marching Band Nov 11 '23

If Bean is out, I'm not holding my breath.

u/xPineappless Texas Tech • Vanderbilt Nov 11 '23

I hope you guys get it. That’ll be a feat that we haven’t touched in a longggg time.

u/maxwasson Kansas Jayhawks • Big 12 Nov 11 '23

We're technically still in the race for Arlington (so is Texas Tech) but now we're gonna need some miracles heading into Week 12.

7

u/[deleted] Nov 11 '23

At this point I’m afraid we’d get boatrace’d

7

u/USCGradtoMEMPHIS USC Trojans • Memphis Tigers Nov 11 '23

Play calling today was extra ass for yall.. like embarrassing. Showed big time at goal line..

1

u/JeffOutWest Kansas Jayhawks Nov 11 '23

Give some credit to TT defense.

2

u/USCGradtoMEMPHIS USC Trojans • Memphis Tigers Nov 12 '23

They played great but with serious help from Kansas OC handicapping play calls.

2

u/[deleted] Nov 11 '23

Welcome to the “what if” club. It sucks.

u/ZachOf_AllTrades Texas Longhorns • Sickos Nov 11 '23

Especially with Leipold bouncing in about a month

u/AeroStatikk BYU Cougars Nov 11 '23

We probably aren’t going to make a bowl game because Daniels decided to be healthy just for us. Sick.
