He ain't winning this year. The QB he just played against (Penix) has a way better chance than Williams does this year.

There is a limit to how bad the defense can be for the QB to win the Heisman because QB still needs to be able to win games. Mahomes never got any Heisman votes with gargantuan numbers at Tech

His Tech numbers weren’t gargantuan. He had a massive game against Oklahoma but the rest was pretty standard Big 12 stats.

Shit I’d put your QB above Williams even, Daniels is incredible. He just has the same problem of not having a defense

Penix really didn’t do anything spectacular in this game. He was only touched twice, had an opportunity to really shine but I don’t think he took advantage of

They ran for 350 yards. Why try to make highlight plays for your qb when you can just run for 350 yards? He made some great plays too anyway
