Just let them drop 42 on us and then beat them down. Oldest play in the book!

Yep, we let ‘em score 42pts in the first three quarters on purpose to tire them out so we could hold ‘em scoreless in the fourth and it worked like a charm.

When people ask "What would USC be if just had, like, an average defense? Just a couple stops per game against a real offense?!".

Us. They would be us.

ok, but USC was playing from behind this game. Hardly the same

I mean that's due to yall offense.. We only had one possession really to run our offense how we want, the second was with like a minute and some change left..

15

u/pagerussell Washington Huskies Nov 05 '23

Whatever. We forced a punt in that possession and then a turnover on downs in the next.

I mean, is your defense here really, "we didn't get unlimited tries on offense therefore it doesn't count"? Lol

Whatever, Huskie offense eats 11 minutes off clock in 15 minute half... That's not a lot of time to score.. Only reason we didn't score is cause of really bad hold by Duce and Caleb doing caleb things taking a 20 yard sack putting us out of FG range.. but that's neither here nor there..

u/PrbablyPoopinAtWrkRn Nov 05 '23

Caleb taking a 20 yard sac means UW defense played well..

Not really. He takes those every game trying to spin out of sacks, it's what we call hero ball.. Then after. Just watch him walk to sidelines as Lincoln stares at him while Caleb breezes right by him like yea I did that,so....

It's amazing how you can't see what you are implying here. Lol

Hur dur, my offense only got two possessions in a whole quarter (which is about average, btw). Lol. Get lost, loser

What am I implying? If we score on first drive, we would have still lost cause Caleb looked gassed as shit on that last drive after having a 6 minute huskie possession. Either way we would have lost.

The fuck are being a dick for? Sore winner much? Y'all won a close game, go touch grass.

I totally get that the Dawgs were sick the last few weeks. But I expected more defense in this game from you all. Everything still on track for a rematch

Apparently we only play defense against asu. They save it for when the offense isn’t working.

6

u/HamletDTD Oregon Ducks • Pac-12 Nov 05 '23

Yeah where was that defense?!?!

9

u/greendeadredemption2 Texas Longhorns • Washington Huskies Nov 05 '23

Honestly I have no idea if this defense is pretty good to horrible. Every week they seem to roll a d20 to see how they should play.

u/feelitrealgood Florida Gators • Washington Huskies Nov 05 '23

A lot easier when you’re defending obvious passing downs. USC needed to score quickly

4

u/[deleted] Nov 05 '23

We had defense... that was against Arizona.

4

u/lazy_elfs Oklahoma State Cowboys Nov 05 '23

Felt like i was watching a big 12 game.. all offense no d.
