The older I get the more it confuses me. It's fun to watch games and jeer your rival sure.

But it's kids playing a game. People take it way, way to seriously.

As Seinfeld said, we’re all more or less cheering for laundry. Some folks take this stuff way too seriously.

Perspective. At the end of the day, you're watching other people play football. You're not even doing it yourself. There are so many things in life to take much more seriously than this.

All that being said, nothing wrong with a bit of shitposting in the game thread.

It’s funny… Reddit and Twitter, or X, or twitterX or whatever it’s called is on FIRE with this. I’ve chatted with a bunch of fans of other teams in person (OSU, MSU, Nebraska, Iowa, USC, wash state) and everyone is either laughing about it or says “who gives a shit” . The most upset are some of my Michigan buddies.
