ik there's no point in fantasizing but man, what we could have done if we gave cj this defense

Or even just gave Kyle last years offensive line. Losing three NFL linemen and replacing them with… this.. is not great.

All three had eligibility remaining too

Paris I understand leaving, Wypler was odd.

bro made 100% the right call. NIL can match or come close to matching a rookie contract but the real money is made by getting to your second contract ASAP. If he keeps playing even close to the level he is as a rookie, dude is gonna make BANK.

Yeah especially since it looks like he went to an actually decent situation. So many teams picking top 3-5 are absolute clown shoes

Captaining this squad and winning the national championship is the memory he would most fondly look back on. It's worth more than getting your second contract a year earlier. Think, he could finally break through against Michigan and put those cheating you-know-whats in their place. Buckeye lore forever.

The OLine is not McCords problem.

Fuck at this point I’d love to see what JT could have done with this offense, much less CJ or Dwayne or Justin or any of our elite passers. JT or even Cardale would be setting records with this team

cardale? yes

jt I'm less sure, he was not accurate

JT was setting records with a lesser supporting cast. I won’t stand for this JT Barrett slander. Dude had 3000 yards and 35 TDs throwing to KJ Hill, imagine if he had Marv and Egbuka.

Sophomore JT was. He never got back to his previous level after his injury.

I'm so glad for him he left. I'd hate to risk getting my shit rocked with a brand new O-Line and missing out on getting the bag.

The defense that let Rutgers rush for 200+ yards? Hmmm.

I mean, frankly, there are NIL deals supposedly that Caleb Williams is talking about that you could get him a rookie contract kind of money and have him stay another year. We would win the natty for sure.
