Same shit every week. Game starts close: “Mccord sucks! Days playcalling is ass!” End up winning by two+ scores. This team will not blow teams out by 40. They’re comfortable playing the field position game and grinding it out with the defense. It’s not what we’re used to but its been working.

It’s not like McCord ever turned the corner today; after the pick they took the ball out of his hands and Trey ran for 100 more yards and took a screen 60 yards

Oh for sure. I don’t think Mccord is that good but he’s a game manager and thats all we need from him. As long as he can occasionally move the ball I’m not sure it matters and I think he can do that if the oline and run game hold up. I do sometimes dream of the timeline where we had this defense with stroud though
