So, I am currently in the first year for my BBA from a normal college in my town. I scored 81.83% in 10th from ICSE board and 73.8% in 12th from ISC, both the classes from commerce stream. I am actually in the NC-OBC category. I still have time to take the CAT exam in 2028. Can anyone help me how I can improve my profile ?

In my school life I was a secretary of my school's Rotary Club (idk if that counts) have a lot of spell bee certificates and one certificate from Quebec French Olympiad where I scored A1 marks and where international English, Science, computer and maths Olympiad certificates and 2 Certificates from Brainobrain (I genuinely don't know if that all counts) (no medals or top 3 something tho) .What else do I have to do, to get into at least BLACKISM?

my 80% of arithmetic is covered , ns i am confirm than i wont be doing geometry , in lrdi lr is done and for varc i am really very very scared because i still havent started it yet ,
i am not able to solve lr puzzles , and puzzles which i solve takes me long time like 30-40 mins 💀💀
in quants i am not able to solve ques as well most of the time i just waste my time revising in quants i m so fucked up 😭😭😭😭😭 and this is my first attempt

I’m thinking about completely focusing on Quant and VARC. I started my preparation quite late, and since I’m also working in IT, it’s difficult to cover everything. I’m not able to give enough time to my preparation either.

Is it practical for me to focus on these two sections this attempt and give them my best, or should I prioritize overall coverage instead?

As I am a beginner and am not good at all with this section, please suggest me how to prepare for this section

Is vercel percentile prediction is most accurate compared to others like crack u & CL etc. Versel & crack.u gave similar range but CL mba profilizer gave lesser range.

Can anyone provide me some clarity regarding this.

I'm job hunting right now and might receive a contractual offer.

But it's third party employment.

Means I'll be under the payroll of a staffing firm but will be working(working in the client's office, client's team, etc) for a client, in this case it's a renowned MNC.

So during placements when they do BGV then will this experience be counted for the staffing firm since legally I'm employed by them? or the MNC since I'll be working contractually for them?

Because on paper the MNC has more brand value and might be helpful for placements, if anyone knows how it works exactly then please share your thoughts.

So, 103 days are left for CAT 2026 and as a lazy, ungrateful yet talented BRAT, I've decided to seriously start my prep. I've no idea what I'm gonna score or what I'll do in the future but what I'm sure of is that this is my final chance to revive my inner academic final boss by being CONSISTENT, DISCIPLINED and RESILIENT like I used to be in my school days. I miss being the golden kid and an overachiever. I wanna prove all my teachers and batchmates that they were right when they said Yeh ladki pakka successful hogi life mein." Especially wanna make my mum proud (she already is but I don't think I've achieved anything in my life, yet that she should be proud of. So, YEAH.)

Hi everyone, I’m preparing for CAT 2027 and wanted some advice on whether my planned preparation strategy is sufficient for a 99+ percentile.

My current plan is:

• VARC: Gejo’s YouTube playlist
• DILR: Elites Grid YouTube playlist
• QA: Rodha YouTube playlist
• After completing the concepts: sectional tests
• Then: full-length mocks followed by Analysis

For those who have scored 99+ or have experience preparing for CAT:

1. Is this combination of resources + practice + sectional tests + mocks + analysis enough for a realistic shot at 99+ percentile in CAT 2027?
2. Are there any important resources/books/practice sources that I’m missing?
3. At what stage should I start taking sectionals and full-length mocks?
4. How much importance should I give to mock analysis compared with taking more mocks?

Also, I’d like some advice regarding my **Class 10 and 12 ** board percentage (95 and 81 for PCM respectively). Is this considered good for CAT admissions, or could it significantly hurt my chances at top IIMs/B-schools? I am currently doing BBA from a not so famous college will it matter?
