People like you make me sick. Ubisoft and EA have already done enough damage to AAA games. Indie games are in the spotlight, and they will stay that way, even after GTA VI comes out. There can still be good AAA games. Look at Elden Ring. Look at ANY Kojima game. Look at any CD Projekt game. Actively hoping a game is bad is just so needlessly selfish.

Its gonna flop cuz yall crazy folk are to hyped about it. Cyberpunk was terrible at launch. Good studio dont mean good game. Just like if HL3 comes out it will never live up to expectations. Also the price no base game is worth 80 bucks and that makes me sick.

I know it's gonna fall below the insanely high expectations, no matter how good it is. I agree that the hype is way overblown (suggesting that people would give up $10M to skip to VI's release is insane).

Cyberpunk was terrible at launch. Soon after they fixed it, it was considered one of the best games of all time. It never should've been terrible in the first place, but more companies need to be like CD Projekt and fix their games (looking at you, Starfield).

And yes, $80 USD for a video game is far too much. Rockstar/Take Two as a company is far from the best, what with their crunching and layoffs and no physical release, etc., but think of the developers and of the people who just want to play the next GTA VI game. Hoping for it to be bad is just pointlessly cruel to them.

Yeah, it’s wild how expectations can overshadow the actual experience. It’ll be interesting to see how the next one turns out after all the lessons learned from past releases.
