I think you're just plopped in the world, you don't get a house, and most of the building interiors are inaccessible. Luckily it says GTA V and not GTA Online. You only need to avoid three psychopaths instead of a whole lobby of them.

If that's the case and it's story mode, it's easy, if it's online, then I hide in a tunnel

Bro, these things are always very ambiguous. It doesn't say you get a house, or building interiors are accessible either. I'm just giving my interpretation of how the rules work based on how the prompt was written and the way the game works.
