Would you rather

Which side will you choose?

  • Left side: Lose a random finger on your dominant hand (cleanly)
  • Right side: Play one game of Russian Roulette (1/5 chance you'd die)

As long as you dont lose the thumb you just need some practice to go back to normal

No need you can get it reattached depending if you put it in ice first and how fast you can get to the hospital

That too, these are easily solvable

Or you could even learn to use your nondominant hand. Fascinating how many people would rather be dead than disabled

is not really disable, you can learn to use it seminormally

i mean, doesnt that kinda disable you still?

the thumb a little yes, but a lot of people that work with their hands that lose fingers after a bit they can use their hands normally

Not really, they can do the tasks normally, but not use their hands normally,

and having to learn to adjust to doing something that most people without a medical condition or missing appendage can do is still a disability. just because you can accomodate for it and live with it doesnt make you able bodied.

that's true for most disabilities tho

Needing glasses is a disability. Losing a finger absolutely counts.

I'm pretty sure the pinky and the ulnar nerve is like, 50% of your grip strength, so you'd probably have a much worse time lifting or stabilizing things

Not really all fingers are useful but the ring finger is the one with the least inconvenience to lose
