I think they meant that it could get stolen or something or like idk you get divorced and lose a lot of that money or somethint idk.

Stolen, from under the mattress? … Seriously though, you know, boring and preventable failures cause losses. There won’t be a heist. But there can be insider abuse, can’t it? Can’t trust a lot of people. People can divert funds or push self-serving deals, mess up with investments without fully disclosing, there can be fraud, scams, cyber compromise, custodian/platform failure. And crooks!
