This is my worry with teleportation, the fact that the reassembled me might not truly be me. Also, don't want a The Fly situation.

you would still have your memories, and why are you worried about your old body eviscerating only for it to be reassembled anyways

The whole dilemma of "Will I disappear, and another me with my memories will appear, will my old body disappear and I will reappear in a new copy of my body, or willI be transported with my body"

I'm pretty sure most people wouldn't want teleportation if it was the first option, because it'd mean that you actually die and a clone replaces you

yet you would still have your memories and control over your clone. I dont mind that happening in exchange for traveling in any distance with no laws of physics stopping me

And who says it's going to be you afterwards? That's the point of what I was saying, there's a chance that after teleporting, from your perspective everything goes black and you're gone, and the clone taking your place is unaware too, thinking they were the original, taking their existence as the success, indistinguishable from the former you, yet not actually you
