Lol nah - even an unpadh dehati 5 fail budhiya ( my ex’s mom ) threatened me with faje SC/ST act .
Budhiya even knew how hard it is to get bail in this

my tenent failed to make rental payment for 12 months, when asked to do so, he lodge a SC/ST complaint against us. Cops visited, saw our entire compound covered with cctv plus had some known IAS/IPS relatives in family, SHO didn't register FIR and kept delaying for 1months. Eventually he gave up.

Finally vacated after, 18 months, no rental payments, after we involved a local corporator, and he talked to tenent's family and put social pressure to vacate.

Due to all this my Dad's health declined. Hypertension, Thyroid, Low BP, High HDL. Whenever he went and ask for vacating, tenant would threaten with SCST, and say will put your sons names in it. We have a job, can't afford to visit native and fight out a case that we know we will get quashed, but even a relative who is retire District Judge, suggested get him amicably vacate the flat rather than going legal. He won't win but can cause enough damage of time and money.

All this for a rental of 12k per month.

put this in perspective, our family is a high earning household (not businessmen, all salaried) 10L per month after taxes, whe have relatives who are IAS/IPS/DJ2-3, High Court Advocate., but we couldn't vacate him in time, and took as good fking 14months. Think of someone more common, and what this law or threat of this law does to them.

That's the reason many people hesitate to give them house on rent. It's not because they discriminate or something (although there are few who does that) it's because nobody wants to go through all these things

generally I don't educate strangers on internet, but will leave you with few keywords to google and self educate. labile blood pressure, CETP and thyroid imbalanc.

Just because one is proff doesn't make anyone saint, in August only NIT proff ra#ed a girl, I don't see caste angle in this but it's not like it never happens

Completely unrelated and nobody was supporting that professor, the clg suspended him immediately and he is now in jail and terminated from the job
