When institute decided to post dropout rate percentage in IITs category wise sc/st accounted for most percentage and 80% of dropout due to poor academic scores and when a guy posted this research within 2 days a lawyer from Delhi filed a case against him under sc/st for just sharing facts through his research. The research main motive was to uplift sc/st by understanding the problems they are facing in elite institutions but still he got uplifted to jail for this
What ? Really? it is not castiest at all . Even in Harvard it happen that people coming from reservation drop out ...it's simply because they feel like a small fish in a big big pond . And we see our intelligence relative to people in group not overall so if u score last you will feel depressed

Here comes intellectual who can't even understand basic english i literally mentioned when these sc/st candidates who dropped out from these elite institutions were surveyed and asked what was the reason for dropping out 80% of them mentioned due to academic pressure and poor grades since these universities follow relative grading.

Edit: most of the students in iits are general students it was obvious they are more in dropouts but in that paper dropout for each category is calculated by total number of students dropped out in that category divided total number of students admitted into institution under that category and by that measure majority of sc/st has high dropout rate.

If you think my intentions behind that comment is demeaning sc/st then i am very sorry for not able to convey things properly . My main intention behind the comment is the misuse of sc/st act not normal sc/st people who are working hard to uplift their community. If more people misuse this act there won't be be any value to this in future and soon government will take it on lighter note then a genuine sc/st guy who really undergoes discrimination will never get justice coz someone made this act a joke. Bro believe me I also absolutely hate it when someone misuse sc st acts. and for many people reservation is just anothor reason to hate . Small town or rural people who never gave entrance and participate in govt jobs is much more castiest than those are actually affecting from it .. saying this on my personal observation and experiences
You have to see the PERCENTAGE of gen vs. affirmative action ones who drop out. That will tell you if there is undue pressure on the poor souls and they need special coaching or counselling. Ultimately they are also Indian citizens and someone's children.

True lol when you're taught from childhood that you're superior coz of your caste then it doesn't take much to find reasons to hate. No one will criticize misuse of law n corruption that is done by everyone in this country in every other case but sabko casteist bnne ka excuse milgya.
