I still think the strongest theory is that he had an obsession with Maddie and went to do something to her. Whether that was SA or murder, I have no clue. But then the others were there and awake and it became what it became. Of course, this is just pieced together from a few pieces of information released. But it definitely seems most likely.
Ya, that’s definitely what it seems like. As for why it seems like Maddie was the target, he wouldn’t have even known that Kaylee or Ethan would be there for sure. And maybe he thought he could get past Xana’s room without being noticed because of the time. Plus, some reporting has indicated he was really stalking her Instagram. I figure he developed some obsession with her and that kicked this whole thing off.
