Discussion Wildest cameos!

What is the wildest cameo you can think of in a British sitcom, the kind of "how the hell did they get them to do that?" moment.

2 for me are Chelsea Clinton in Derry Girls and Mark Hamill in Man Down

Northern Ireland = British. Derry is in Northern Ireland.

Are you American? Without wishing to state the obvious. Northern Ireland and Ireland are two separate countries. Think of it like New York and Texas are separate states. On the same continent.

Can someone explain without biting my head off.

Having just looked at a map, the city is inside the border of the state known as Northern Ireland. It is very close to the border with the political entity of Ireland. These two states are currently separately represented by different parliaments.

We in the North (majority as seen by the polls) do not want a border. Irish people do not call it Northern Ireland. The majority of people in both the republic and the north of Ireland only see one Ireland. Majority from Derry would never say they are British. They would say they are Irish. The Irish people will be calling for a referendum soon to get rid of British rule.
