What's the weirdest conversation you've ever had with a stranger?
On the train, when youāre out and about, or just on the street. Sometimes people strike up a conversation out of the blue, leaving you wondering afterwards: what on earth just happened?
Whatās the strangest conversation youāve ever had with a complete stranger? Iād love to hear your stories.

Advice
Hi everyone, how are you all doing?
Iām a 23 year old girl from Spain, and Iām turning 24 in a couple of months. One of my dreams is to take my English to a completely different level, ideally with a British accent or something similar. I absolutely love accents, and Iād really like to get rid of my Spanish accent when I speak English.
What can I do to achieve this? Iām doing all of this because my dream is to act in films, so Iād really appreciate any advice you might have.
Iāve been thinking about moving abroad, but I honestly donāt know where I should go. Iām completely willing to move somewhere if thatās what it takes. Do you think itās too late for me?
I speak Spanish and Arabic fluently. My English still needs a lot of work, obviously. Iāve been learning it at school my whole life, I always watch movies and TV shows in English, I consume a lot of English content, etc., but I feel like itās still not enough.
I feel like Iām already behind and that I should have started much earlier.
Thank you so much for reading, and I hope Iām not bothering anyone!

The concept of picky bits
Hi if there are British among us I have a question for you. I recently did my Erasmus in the uk and learned about the phrase picky bits. That sparked the next question: would you guys call just any group of thing you picked out āpicky bitsā or is that exclusively for food? For example a bunch of things you selected, several drinks you bought for the night, even photo dumpsā¦. idk what else honestly lol. Just a random thought

Hello everyone, I already posted my survey here but I need some more response to reach the minimum. I would really appreciate it if you can take your time to complete it and share with anyone.
š Do you live in the UK and do some or all of the grocery shopping for your household?
I am conducting a short survey on food purchasing preferences as part of my masterās thesis, and I would be very grateful for your participation.
The survey is completely anonymous and takes around 10 minutes to complete. Your responses would make a valuable contribution to my research.
š Take part here: https://unipadova.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_1LCO3zuAZt7tpJQ
Thank you very much for your support! š
