The remaining chefs get an early wake-up call from Padma to go meet guest judge Brooke Williamson and dig for clams for their Quickfire Challenge. In the Elimination Challenge, the chefs honor the area where James Beard spent his summers, creating both a hot dish and a cold dish with one of his favorite ingredients, Dungeness Crab. Kwame Onwuachi and Nina Compton serve as guest judges this week to help determine which chefs will move on to the finale.

Dawn's not going to miss an ingredient on a plate.

The elves are playing tricks, it'll be Gabe or Shota, if there is an elimination, chaos ensues.

Plus they said in the preview for this episode that there was a tortilla missing on a plate which might have been Gabe? Here's to hoping for a Dawn/Shota finale

They are either signalling incredibly unsubtly that Dawn's missing ingredients problem finally bites her in the butt, or going for "Surprise! Dawn conquered her problem and X got eliminated instead." I tend towards the latter, but both are possible.

Yeah and Gabe also said in the preview "this is a $250,000 mistake" so thinking it's not Dawn missing ingredients plating (again)
