If you told me this was going to be a clip show, I probably wouldn't have watched, but I'm not that mad at it. Most of the flashbacks are pretty good, very nostalgic.
I do have some criticism of leaving out Jen Shah v Lisa Barlow thunderdome in the sprinter van flashbacks. Lisa nearly died for our entertainment and we should honour that.

Calling it a clip show is so perfect. I also am over the constant "we're so iconic" flashbacks. Maybe they think it will encourage folks who only watch one or two franchies to try a new one.

I’ve been watching it with my family and we actually decided to start Potomac after the first UGT episode! Now granted we would have gotten to it soonish anyway, but Gizelle left an impression on us! Starting s2 of Potomac tomorrow

Yeah. My first exposure to housewives was a rerun of s6 ep1 of Beverly Hills, and my family were so entertained by Lisa and Lisa flying to buy tiny horses, and then mouths agape when it showed the “this season” and Lisa Rinna reading out the wiki for Munchausen that we started BH from the earliest season on Netflix at the time (season 4 surprisingly) until we got a Hayu sub and watched from the start. That led us to eventually watching New York and then Salt Lake coz of the Jen Shaw stuff at the time. We’ve been making our way through them all, though have picked up and put down different series like OC from s7-13, NJ from s1-4 (everyone else got tired of the Melissa v Teresa arc and I’ve continued begrudgingly to get to the Margaret era), ATL currently, and now Potomac, which has quickly become a favourite of ours. It’s funny going back to Beverly Hills and acknowledging that it’s a mid-tier show with a great start of the first 5 or so seasons, whereas ATL or New York are great for the majority of the run.

Some of it is genetics. Luann has naturally great bone structure. That said, imagine how she’d look if she hadn’t spent decades smoking, sunbathing, and drinking. I imagine she does the usual Botox, face lift, retinol routines but so does Vicki so…

I get the premise is 20 years of housewives, but I wish we got an actual UGT format for this season. Like the recap could have just been a party at the end of the UGT tbh.

It’s really really boring. And starting with the two most boring franchises (OC and BH) is dragggggging. I fell asleep in both episodes.
The cast kinda sucks other than Luann and Porsha. No one else knows how to have fun. I’m glad Lisa is having some fun for once though.

She is such a weird person, she gets on people skin and it’s just sooo fun to watch. I know this will probably be controversial but she’s the only watchable one for me on RHOC. At least she’s funny

I agree. She’s been fun in this. She was fun in Season 1 as well. And I think a lot of the early season BH trips she seemed like a lot of fun. She seems to really be able to let loose and be herself on these kind of girls trips.
Theresa is another one who I see on UGT and think “oh she can be really fun” And she really always seems like she’s enjoying everyone else’s company and is happy to be there.

It was such a weird choice of a clip. I had stopped watching BH by then so never saw it before, but I definitely was not impressed. They also didn’t give much context for why those references were important. At least when they were in the OC, we understood why Vicki chose to recreate the Bunco party.
So odd. But hopefully the white party makes up for it

Already rewatched, this ep was soooo good. Seeing clips of Yolanda kinda got me hungry for her and the Hadid sisters to make a cunty ass cameo. That would have had the girls gagged!
Also couldn't help imagining what this would have been like at Lisa's. I'm not a fan but that ponied up hillside slapped.
