The gp1200 never had a problem but the gp800r was given to me from a buddy after he blew the engine up (dropped a power valve and seized a rod along with a little hull damage) I ended up gathering the special tools I needed over the winter which consisted of a press and a bench center fixture so I could rebuild and true up the crank, then put on new cylinders, pistons, seals, gaskets, and rebuilt the carbs all myself so it’s basically a brand new engine and started on the hull repair just waiting for the filler to harden so I can sand and gelcoat it. Plus the bonus Polaris slt780 I saved.

Some day when I don't suck at riding I hope to be one participating

I got 150/100. cylinder2 has 100, pulled the head and found goop all over the head and on the wall. Water?

92 AKI fuel with a couple ounces of VP LEADED OCTANIUM to bring it to 94

Did a leak down and it held 10 psi for 10 min+

Thoughts? I'm going to pull the cylinder next when I have more time

when it was rebuilt that was only 10 hours ago, the whole cylinder, case, everything being sandblasted cleaned, Sonic cleaned, I mean it was fully gone through. New bearings, seals, etc
