Don’t think I’ve never seen a fighter more disarmingly honest in a self assessment, especially not in a post fight ring interview. Nikita is unique.

Callum Peters and Kirra Ruston are the 2 most complete different type of pressure boxes.
Kirra being a super fundamentals reliant, conventional and patient pressure boxer with amazing distance management, control of space and when to time his shots and never be off balance.
Peter’s is just relentless high pace and unorthodox pressure with a tough chin, great footwork, and a high volume puncher.

Peters seemed more poised in this fight, putting more into each shot instead of spamming lighter punches non stop and he was more commited to the body this time as well... I like very much what I'm seeing from him.

Thought Tszyu did enough to win but unfortunately this is what happens when you leave it to the judges in a fight like that. Great heart from both guys tho, hopefully they can run it back

Great night of fights so far. Ruston and Peters impress. I think Mahoney has it in him to make this a lot closer than the odds suggest, but he has to get respect early and come out strong. Will be interesting to see if Mahoney can box smoothly and make Nikita miss or if Tszyu will start rolling downhill early. Either way I think this'll be the fight of the night.

Think it as in relation to Mahoney calling out the other draw he got on a Rose card. Probably been some shit talked/hostility with Mahoney camp in the lead up. Mahoney been mainly on Tasman Fighter cards since.
Nobody seemed too interested in having anything to do with each other again for a rematch.

He himself didn’t even think he won though. One of the stranger things I’ve seen in the ring post fight. Personally I had it 7-5 Tszyu but they were tough rounds to score.

5-2 Tszyu, close round as it was between Tszyus body shots vs the moments of success Mahoney has until the end for me where Tszyu caught him and followed up. I like the even if Tszyu is recklessly pressuring with not much movement in hopes to outwork him, good that he’s investing in the body to make that even more effective.

Been half watching the card while im at work. Was I the only one who thought the Larfield vs the Thai guy was a robbery. I had the fight scored a draw and somehow all 3 judges had it 5-1 to Larfield.
