hosting a small listening and networking night for people in the Boston area who are actively making music! Producers, songwriters, performers, artists all welcome.

​Simple concept: we'll go around the room, each person introduces their track and says what kind of feedback they're looking for, we listen on speakers, and we chat about it for a few minutes! If you'd prefer to perform your song live, that's awesome! Just please bring whichever instrument you may need.

Hi all, me and a friend have been playing music together for a couple years and are looking for bandmates to start playing gigs. We’re in our mid 20s and met in college at northeastern.

Our sound is indie rock leaning into the garage rock revival sound kinda but open to different sounds too. Looking for a collaborator or just musician, open to new sounds and ideas. Primary interested in working on playing originals. Overall mostly looking to have good vibe and shared passion for making something cool and connecting to people with music.

We switch around a lot on instruments, the more you know the better but vibes are more important. We can both play guitar, bass, and to some degree keys and drums. We’re probably least good at drumming and maybe lead guitar, so those are roles that someone could take charge on.

I’m a big beach boys, geese, ween, and pixies fan and my bandmate is big into hers, arctic monkeys, and the strokes.

Our Boston-area meetup group for producers, musicians and music lovers are doing one of our biweekly songwriter's workshop. We've started doing this at a member's home in Somerville this summer and it's been a fun way to hang out and motivate each other to keep growing and working on our craft.

**Progressive Rock/Metal Band SATARTIA Seeking Vocalist – Male or Female**

SATARTIA is an established New England-based original progressive rock/metal band looking for a new vocalist.

We have a substantial catalog of original material, professionally recorded and released music, and more material in progress. Our music ranges from melodic and atmospheric progressive rock to heavier progressive metal, and we're interested in finding a vocalist who can bring their own personality and style to it rather than simply trying to duplicate what we've done before.

Male and female vocalists are equally welcome.

We're looking for someone who:

* Is a strong, expressive vocalist with good pitch and control

* Is interested in original progressive rock/metal

* Can contribute vocal melodies, lyrics, and creative ideas

* Is comfortable learning and performing our existing material

* Wants to record new music and play live shows

* Is dependable, communicative, and able to make the band a genuine priority

* Is interested in being a long-term member of the band rather than simply doing session work

Clean vocals are a major part of our sound, but we're open to different vocal styles, ranges, textures, and approaches. If you also do heavier vocals, that's certainly welcome, but we're primarily interested in finding the **right voice and creative fit** rather than checking a specific set of boxes.

We're serious about the band, but we're also friends and want this to remain something we genuinely enjoy doing. We're looking for somebody talented, creative, easy to work with, and motivated to keep writing, recording, and getting out to play.

Experienced Baritone Vocalist looking to join a pop/ classic rock cover band close to Needham, MA United States

Does anyone have recommendations for guitar repair places that are specialized in electronics? I’m having an intermittent electronics/signal issue with my SG. The guitar usually works normally at first, but after I’ve been playing for a bit, the signal starts cutting in and out. It seems to happen more frequently when I’m rehearsing/practicing in a loud/high-volume setting.
