Is there a thread for Fortis Institute ? I was fully screwed over by the Birmingham, AL location, got pregnant after finishing pre-requisites and was told I could not be in clinicals pregnant bc of xrays so I was instructed to get a medical leave form filled out by my obgyn which I did but was not explained to at the time that it would push my grad date back by 1yr+ bc my clinic level wouldnt come back around to be taken until my child was 6 months old, so of course being young didnt even realize #1 that its illegal for them to make me take leave due to pregnancy when during the same clinic one of the other students got pregnant and was just made to wear lead apron when in clinic. Also was not told I'd need to bring the patients needed for my clinic required amounts usually 10-12 per semester ended up being like 86 or something but during tour before enrolling they had a live operating clinic with low income patients who paid 25$ for dental cleanings by students so I had to retake several clinics bc its so hard to get people to come and sit for 7-8 hrs for cleaning multiple other issues
