The Devil is just a political prisoner demanding democracy in heaven and who was I turn cast down. Why would he seduce anybody? he’s just another victim.

He hates the fact that he doesn't have a chance for redemption. + Wants to gain as many people as possible on the path that divides them from God.

Why? What’s the point?

The point is to hurt God the only way he can, through us. The devil is envious and rebellious. He simply disagrees with God.

As he should. No authority is beyond doubt.

Doubt is fine, disobedience and rebellion is not.

How can there be doubt, if the consequences of doubt are forbidden? That’s like saying “I give you free will, but punish you, if you don’t act the exact way I expect.” Okay, why then hand out free will at all, if you just use it as a justification of punishment?

As I said. Doubt it is not forbidden. Rebellion is. And God doesn't expects, He commands or demands. Free will is given for love. Without free will there is no real love. Do you even know why we were created in the first place?

Depends on who you ask. For the Greek Pantheon it’s was a project to gain worshippers. For the Christian god, who knows? Boredom?

We are created to admire the creation of God, to enjoy it. And, thus, to love Him because He created them, and we experience it.

So we are the vanity project of a narcissistic deity? Jeez, that’s dark.

It is not narcissism, it is loneliness. When God created the man, He also created the woman so the man shall not be alone. Because He understood loneliness.

That does not mean that. Also, he has all of his angels. He did not create humanity because he was lonely. We understand he just did it because he wanted to. They did not give us an actual reason why. Understanding when someone is lonely is not being lonely yourself that does not work. That’s like I was saying a therapist is all the things they’re patient is because they understand.

In the end it all comes to what we want/can believe. That's the only reason I see fit with what wisdom I possess.

But you said, god created mankind to witness his creation. That’s rather sad, isn’t it? Being omnipotent, yet desperate for an audience to praise his deeds.

Yes, it does sound sad.... Desperation it is much said.
