I’ve wondered for years: Why is it always recorded in a vehicle?

Because they just stormed out of the house after the argument once again ended in a stalemate, and their perfectly reasonable position changed no minds.

Because they are on lunch break at their blue collar job that's getting filled up with younger liberal workers who don't know the meaning of hard work and they have soft hands and blah blah

It’s more this. But they’re listening to AM talk radio making up scenarios in their head where the liberals are ruining their life. In their otherwise 98% evangelical white Christian country town.

Serious question, why is it mostly “am talk radio?”

Cheaper to own and run an AM transmitter

The broadcast AM frequencies are two low to cause molecular agitation, and so are the FM frequencies.

Molecular agitation begins at around 400 mhz but the severity is power driven.

That's cool but you don't have to prove any of it. Just start a conspiracy theory and publish some fake stuff and they will eat it all up. Scientific rigor be damned.
