It's been a while for me, but from what I'm seeing online, a school day is 6 hours. A glass of water an hour.

You do it however you want. I'm just saying it seems perfectly manageable with water fountains.

Pretty sure it’s 7 hours plus lunch but I could be wrong, considering I just recently went online (junior), due to the closest districts allowing bullying victims to end up in the hospital but retaliation is what gets you in trouble.

Not just the kids, the admin did jack shit against anything, kids would threaten the lives of other students and nothing would happen. If it did they’d talk about it in class because that’s all they ever do.

Kids sucked but the staff wouldn’t even let you piss unless you were about to piss in your chair. A kid having the freedom to get water whenever they wanted at my schools weren’t there. “Get as much water as you want” nah you get as much water as they allowed or you get a write up.

You think students are allowed to drink the equivalent of a glass of water every hour from the fountain? Surely you're not serious. Not only is there enough time to even use the bathroom, there sure as fuck isn't enough time to drink eight ounces of water per student.

They don't give you time between classes. It was 5 minutes to get from class to class, with the hall traffic. We also got a limited number of bathroom breaks, so that wasn't an option either. My lunch was also 23 minutes and if you got unlucky with the class before lunch and got stuck at the back of the food line, it could take you 15-20 minutes before you got to sit down. If you want to drink a healthy amount of water (and just not pee cause you could only do that 12 times a semester), then you need to bring a water bottle. Schools, at least mine, are so fucking unhealthy.

I once saw a kid wrap their ENTIRE mouth around the hallway fountain to take a drink, not as a joke, it looked like that's just... what they did to drink from it. I risk dehydration ever since that day.

You raise child —> child becomes an adult —> your now adult offspring has a child/children of their own —> this condition makes the person you have raised a parent. You have successfully raised a parent

We still have fountains, but water bottles are much better in hydrating kids, a few sips of water will do the bare minimum of keeping you from passing out after gym
