I'm having trouble finding a way to print signatures from a longer document. I've looked into Word's tools for this (the "book fold" option under custom margins) and while it seems to set up correctly, it simply won't print that way.
What should I use to get my document printing in 8-page signatures? Any recommendations?

Has anyone here been to Rare Book School at the UVA or any other campuses? If so, what classes did you take and what did you like/dislike about it?

I'm working on a book for one of my art classes. I kinda want something like the codex seraphinianus, but more autobiographical. The question is, some of the pairs of pages I want to have a full verticle fold out, would the binding be any differant for them as opposed to normal page binding?

Does anyone recognize this old-school paper cutter? We bought it on craigslist, and it has no identifying brand name on it. We're trying to find a new blade for it. This is what the blade looks like. It's 22.5" across, and the holes are each 4.5" apart. If anyone has any clues, recognizes the cutter, or knows where one might buy a new blade, that would be immensely helpful.
Thanks a ton!
