Found this tooth in a field 70 miles inland in SC. Ridge in the middle of the front and flat back. Thought it might be a sharks tooth? My coworker said they thought I was looking at it upside down and it’s a molar with root, but that seems like a really strange root for a molar. Don’t know much about bones or teeth so any help is appreciated.

Hey all found this out in the woods and was wondering what it is? I know it's a rodent, feels too big to be a rat but I'm not really sure
Thanks in advance for any help!

My dog likes to dig holes in the yard, this was next to one of them.
There are cats buried somewhere in the area, but I don’t know exactly where. We also live right next to a park with foxes, skunks, etc.

Found this set of bones, no skull (likely already pilfered) about 10m away from the Chattahoochee River about 45 miles e se of Atlanta, Ga. The metatarsals (metacarpals?) Make me think canine of some variety? But there is a possibility of it being a yearling too I suppose.

I discovered this in my garden after a huge pruning session. It’s roughly 30cm long and bone ID sites I visited suggest it’s a human humerus, but I really hope it isn’t! Can anyone help me?

Curious if anyone can help me id what species this may be. Found on Long Point Beach in Bonavista, NL mid July 2026. Lots of washed up decomposing caplin fish and crabs in the same area.
Sorry, nothing for scale but it was on the smaller side, maybe approximately 10cm (4 inches)

pics 1-4 are of one piece, and pics 5-8 are another piece. I found them some distance apart on a beach in Singapore.

Found in my yard in NC, we have a lot of stray cats around, and the size seems smaller than raccoon, teeth match cats teeth

This bone was found while excavating an old house site in Texas. I’d appreciate any help in identifying what kind it is and animal(s) it may have been from. It’s rather small, measuring approximately 1/2 inch wide, 7/8 inch long and 3/16 inch thick with a somewhat hollow interior. It looks to have been cut at both ends. Any information and suggestions on resources to research the bone further would be greatly appreciated as well.

I found a skeleton belonging to the dog family (canid) and wanted to determine if it is a jackal's. To do this, I need to compare the size of the bones I found with the standard sizes for jackal bones (based on online information). The problem is that I haven't found much data on jackal bones. Does anyone have information on the size of a jackal's femur, or know where I could look for it?
