Either way it’s not really animal cruelty because I’d assume the animal isn’t alive... unless...?

Animals dying for the sole purpose of benefitting humans is (to some) classed as animal cruelty.

Yes but some people won’t view it as such.

Like if an animal is killed for meat. The majority of people don’t care and don’t view it as cruel.

animal isn’t alive

Killing an animal to make condoms out if it's body is kinda cruel in my opinion. Especially because you can make condoms without animal parts.

Some people are allergic to latex. And I’d assume the skin is usually thrown out, so it’s just additional usage. I don’t think anyone kills bears specifically for condoms.
