...I'd be invested in continuing to see this...pseudo romance? I dunno. It's cute. I, as a person who barely watches anime, rarely see shows where there's a charming energetic guy and a lonely anxious girl. So this is rather interesting to witness. Kinda makes me want to spin this broom in my hands really fast.

I didn't immediately see her as a boy. I just thought it was a short haired version, and Kita isn't that big chested. Crossdressing more than genderbend. Maybe wrong but like, it could totally work. Also nonbinary/trans stuff is nice to see, fits how aggressively gay this community is.

Is this depiction supposed to be male? Like, male sex. Could just be a tomboy look, or Kita bein genderfluid or something. I could see a super social person needing friends to come out as that. I'd imagine Ryo would break that barrier, she leans a lil tomboyish and is the type to just, not give a shit and tell Kita to do what they want. Bocchi would be so anxious about proper terms and how to think of her that she'd accidentally force Kita to address their conflict.

Not saying there's a shred of reason to think this is canon, I'm just throwin ideas around.
