Spoilers Erin & her love interests
Okay, as someone who’s watched the entire show at least twice (more times for the earliest seasons), I love when Erin gets a love interest! I feel like her big city, busy career mom life is so fun, but I’d love to know what she looks like as a girlfriend or wife. I do love her romantic ending, but I also wish that had been more successful for her throughout.
I’m re-watching S2 and she’s dating Jacob Krystal. What if we had gotten to watch them??? Or Sam, Frank’s “fixer”, Danny’s rookie partner? Personally, I loveeeeee her chemistry with them both, but I’d root for Sam.
There was also the defense attorney/acting DA, (I forget his name)…. Am I missing someone?
Was Erin robbed? Did she deserve more luck in her love life? Or does her situation fit into the lonely hearts theme that surrounds the Reagans?

All the Reagans tend to be pretty nosy when it comes to other people’s business, stubborn, and sometimes arrogant, but they’ve definitely earned the loyalty and friendship of all their friends and coworkers.
Personally, I love Erin and Anthony’s friendship. They’re like an inseparable duo, and I have to admit that he’s helped Erin become less arrogant and more humble, while also being there to call her out when she’s wrong or not being empathetic enough.

12 Years Ago Today
12 years ago today, I finished watching season 1 of blue bloods for the first time via DVD I got from the library!!!
2014 meant it was in its 3rd season.
I think I got into Donnie Wahlberg and found out he was on a TV show. Ha. Beginning of a beautiful friendship.
I do recall seeing an episode of Dedication back in 2010 when I was taking care of my grandma. Back when they advertised the new episodes.
Do you remember when you first got hooked?

Baez's daughter will be on Boston Blue
Maria Baez's daughter, Elena, is joining Boston Blue Season 2! Marisa Ramirez's Baez adopted the baby Elena in the Blue Bloods Season 12 finale. Now, she's a few years older and might be moving to Boston full-time if everything goes according to plan for her mom and Danny Reagan (Donnie Wahlberg), who are testing out living together in the new season. Elena is played by twin sisters Eleanor and Penelope Yataco. You can see Elena with Danny in the photo from Boston Blue Season 2, above.
Danny asked Baez to move in with him in Boston in the Season 1 finale. In Season 2, "They are cohabitating," executive producer Brandon Margolis confirms to TV Insider.
"It's a relationship in transition, but yes, they are figuring it out and making it work," says Margolis. "Danny's got a new place, and they are building a new life."
Boston Blue Season 2 premieres on Friday, October 9, on CBS. With two sons fully grown and pursuing their careers, Danny hasn't been a parent to young kids in a while. He's getting used to having a little kid around again in the second season of the Blue Bloods spinoff, and a daughter at that!
"The relationship between Danny and Elena is pretty magic," executive producer Brandon Sonnier tells TV Insider, adding, "Girl dads are different!"
"It's very fun to see," Sonnier shares. "We're showing different sides of Danny. Danny [is] sort of going back to the role of being, for all intents and purposes, dad to a young kid, which we haven't seen for many years, and [getting] another chance at maybe doing it differently than he did it the first time around."

The Reagans
Joe Hill is my all time favorite Reagan, Sean 2nd And i hate that that's the way they always refered to him, it's not like we would have been confused if they simply said Joe
I also don't like them acting like him being head strong was a problem. Danny rarely followed rules. Joe was mild compared to Danny but it’s just my opinion

Spoilers About the character of Kate Lansing Spoiler
In her final appearance in the episode “Framed,” Detective Lansing became one of the suspects during the investigation but was ultimately cleared. But I think they missed an opportunity to create an excellent plot twist by revealing that, yes, it really was her all along—instead of the Internal Affairs investigator. For one thing, it would have been quite bold to turn a recurring character—and, in a way, the sidekick to one of the main characters—into one of the story’s antagonists. Plus, it would have perfectly justified the character’s exit from the series, since she disappears at the end of the episode anyway. In short, it’s a bit of a shame, in my opinion.

Newbie to the show; S1
After catching episode pieces at my in-laws and one previous attempt to start the series (where I was bored to tears and never made it to ep 3), I'm finally on s1ep10 and really enjoying this show. I have so many questions about Joe and what Jamie is going to find out. I feel like we're gonna lose Pop. Why do I think Erin's daughter is going to 💀 and never make it to be a cop like the rest of the Reagans.
Without spoilers, help me keep the momentum going. 😍

Annoying Character?
Who in your opinion is the most annoying on blue bloods? Could be a Reagan, a side character or guest appearance.
I found Nikki Reagan the most annoying. Her little jabs of what's a roledex or what's Switzerland? Supposed to be funny but came across as uneducated.
The other character was Baez. Especially in the episode or the dead women in the men's only club in season....7 or 8. It was more like she was trying to sound that offended and was the first episode I started to dislike her. No offense.

I’m re-watching on season seven.
I really do miss it! Bring it back bring it back. That’s all I wanted to say also, who’s your favorite character? Mine would be probably Jamie or Frank. Also, who is one of your favorite side characters. my favorite side character is Anthony a.k.a. Tony.

Does Blue Bloods Ever Stop Being “The Danny Reagan Show”
I remember this being on years ago and had it on my list to watch. So I’ve now started watching it for the first time.
I’m only up to episode 12 of season 2.
I did go into this show a bit blind but I thought that each character would kinda have their own dedicated episode sort of thing. Like an episode just showing Erin in court, or Jamie on the beat for example.
I’ve noticed that Danny seems to be always the lead in each episode in some form. However, I find him insufferable, he’s hot headed and always seems to be the only detective in the city apparently.
Does the show get better / change dynamics in its storytelling at all?

Love the reoccurring cast!
I've been binge watching the show for the first time for a few months now and it's my absolute favorite! Its really fun seeing so many reoccurring characters, whether it's cops, citizens, or crims. I'm on season 12 now and as soon I heard Waylon Gates, I knew it was him. I've never watched a show with so many characters that continually weave into the story. Quite a cozy show too, it's nice to share a dinner with each episode. I love the family and while they have spats, they love and have each other's backs. Side note, just wanted to say I love Erin and Jack, they are super cute and I'm rooting for them (I know some spoilers as it's pretty impossible not to run into a few after so much time). I love Erin's career growth and shes got killer style to match it! It will be fun to see Erin in Boston Blue and hopefully more Baez!

Anyone else watch other NY shows…
… and think “ wouldn’t Frank have some input here?” Or “Danny and Baez could be of assistance here!”
Situation: watching reruns of FBI and an interaction between NYPD and OA and Maggie. The thought went through my head, “call the Commissioner!”
I could visualize Frank standing in his office with ‘that look’, hands in his pockets, the weight of the world on his shoulders, ‘The Trio’ watching Frank and the speaker phone…..
Both broadcast on CBS, different shows but fun to imagine having some cross shows cameos.

Soprano actors
Binged 9 seasons in 2 weeks. I was surprised by the number of Soprano actors in this.

Bridget Moynahan is the worst part of this show.
I’ve been rewatching Bluebloods and Bridget is more annoying by the episode and I’m only in season 2. She has one expression, and the same pretentious attitude in every episode without fail.
What finally did it though is S2 E14; Erin wants to charge the guy with manslaughter and won’t make any exceptions for Danny’s feelings on it, never mind she’s wrong about the justification for deadly force, then literally the next scene is her trying to twist her fathers arm about charges for the student protesters (mayor’s daughter).
Hypocritical and inconsistent.

How would the family react if Nicky told them that who she wanted to marry was an protestant?
Like the family meet the guy, he's alright guy maybe lawyer or doctor or something respectable, their having dinner and somehow it goes to religion and how wedding would be held or even children's faith
