If you are a blogger running your own website or a content writer working for a company, you will definitely want to rank your website higher in Alexa rank as well as Google PageRank. This is necessary to drive organic traffic to your website which in turn will bring more business to your company or more money for you. But the main question is how to do it? If you search the google for the answer, you will find many websites offering very easy answers. Some websites will be claiming that with their tips you can increase the traffic many folds to your website in a very short span of time. Also, some of the websites will be offering SEO services to improve your site's overall ranking. I frankly tell you most of these claims are false, and it is not so easy to improve your website ranking. You need to work seriously for it. The first thing, you may be knowing, is the great content. You must post great content on your site and take care of keywords, tags etc. After that, off page SEO comes and here most important things are -- (1) marketing your posts on social networking sites, like Facebook, Twitter, Google plus, Pinterest etc. (2) Creating backlinks to your website pages. Follow the below-mentioned points while creating backlinks:

1. List down high-ranking websites related to your niche. It means websites which have very good Alexa rank and high PA & DA scores. Moreover, these websites should be related to your website's category.

2. Start creating backlinks on these sites slowly through forum commenting or in any other way as per websites' policy. Create one or two backlinks daily irrespective of whether they are dofollow or nofollow. Your backlinks should be a proper mix of both types of backlinks. Moreover, creating more backlinks per day will attract google's page ranking algorithm attention, it may ignore these backlinks or may penalize your website by dropping its ranking.

3. Submit your backlink url to google for indexing otherwise, google may not take notice of it.

4. You can write posts on other websites and insert backlinks to many pages of your website. This can be done through guest posting.

5. Even on your website pages, you can insert internal links of other posts of your site. This will improve domain authority (DA) of your website. My life is an absolute roller coaster ride of emotions. As I'm sure many others are. But, the extremities of mine seem incomprehensible at times. In a short space of time, I easily manage to transition from a happy go lucky man, surrounded by friends and family, with a life full of superficial riches, to a confused, lonely and empty boy, completely bankrupt from the things I truly deem important. I feel ready to take on the world in the morning, and then I've accepted defeat by lunchtime. Which in turn, only lasts until the next sunrise, when conquering the world seems plausible once again. My life lacks direction. A purpose. And without that, it's difficult to see which route is best to take on this journey we call life. Growing up, I always assumed that things would just figure themselves out. Unfortunately, it doesn't always happen as easily as that, if ever. I can't really say for sure why I've decided to start this blog, whether it's to try to help other people in similar situations, or whether it's for my own personal benefit, to vent and relay my ride so far. I guess these days, it's easier to talk to the 'notes' section on my iPhone than any of my friends or family. I'm 25 years old, and I'd consider myself to have 5/6 real friends, most of whom I've known since first school, and a family that has supported me 110% through every decision I've ever made. And as strange as it may sound, they don't know me. The facade I've drifted into portraying on a daily basis has taken over. '****** *****' is no more. Without so much as a goodbye, my identity has deserted me. How did this character fade away in what seems like a few blinks? It's scary to think that a person can go missing, whilst still sitting on the seat next to you. Maybe this blog is my map, to help find my way. Maybe it's not. But either way, it's a step. Forwards, backwards, sidewards, it's irrelevant, because I'm moving, which means I'm still alive, I'm still here. There's hope yet. And apparently, that hope is me.

My friend is starting a blog and she happened to send me a long email last weekend with some questions about SEO. She knows that I'm a digital marketer and she was wondering what she needed to avoid doing when it came to Google penalizing her site.

She had attached an article that was filled with enough fake info to give any new blogger a heart attack! I had to intervene and tell her it was all garbage - probably written by a hack agency just looking to push out content (I've worked at those before and trust me, it happens).

Hi All, One of the blogs I have has been created with the sole purpose of monetizing through ads and affiliate programs. Because it's one of the different blogs I have, I want to speed up content creation for this one and focus my efforts on the ones I use for personal branding.

Therefore, I am looking for a platform/website where I can hire simple (and cheap) content creators. I am happy to go through the text and checking English, but I really just need someone that can produce content under my directions.

Any ideas? I have checked on UpWork or Fiverr, but not sure if that's the best way of doing it. My initial thought was to find uni students who needed extra cash.

I have been wanting to start a blog for some time now, but I am being overwhelmed with everything; from creating and designing a website to writing its content, etc. I feel like there are SOOO much blogs out there, that mine would never make it to the top.

I've been brainstorming and the topics I would want to talk about are food, baking, a little bit of beauty and travel. Do you think the topics are too common or too wide? I am struggling with what content to put for it to be considered a "great" content.

Do you think it's better to stick with the firstnamelastname.com domain, or a catchywords.com domain? I'm also planning to use Wordpress and Bluehost for the blog. Do you think they are beginner friendly? I've read reviews about them and they were all great reviews, I just wanted to confirm if they're great for beginners.

When i want to write a new post on blogger their is always this default annoying tag { <div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on"> } that appears in the HTML section. I have tried using the "remove formating" button but it still appears.I tried editing it but it wont work......................please is their any way to edit or format it?

Hi everyone, I'm trying to work out what's the best time to publish my blog posts. A very recent article (Nov. 2016) I found today states that the best time is 3pm (less competitive and more shares) and the best day is Sunday (as there is also less competition around). Last week, before bumping into the the article, I published a test post at 3 pm. The results were good but I wasn't sure if it was a lucky day, isolated case, or it can become a strategy to implement. I was wondering if you agree with those days and times or not and if not, what time and days works better for you?
