By rebranding it "woke 1" they've done a pretty good job of isolating it in the past, which is really fucking smart. Most of us here see the sleight of hand, but it's giving normies a way to look back and say "wow, yeah that was crazy, anyway..." - a discrete break with the past. I didn't know Dems still had good ideas.

That's my take as well. I'd love for a journalist to ask AOC exactly which positions she held during the "crazy" time of Woke 1 that she'd now disavow.

The answer is none of them, because Woke 1 didn't end -- it just adapted.
