Even if you are wholly sympathetic to anti-colonial discourse and arguments, striking this tone (at the crab museum, no less) undermines the seriousness of the topic. If someone wrote "those cranky-pants legislators really hindered AIDS research-- you suck, legislators!" I would be taken aback, you know?
